GO Pro
MEIZU GO Pro – thats what fans will see on Meizu’s Facebook page and yes, it is indeed time to go Pro – Pro Plus to be honest.

It is obvious, the MX5 Pro “Plus” is on it’s way, featuring 4GB RAM and an Exynos 7420. Currently it remains questionable whether Meizu will release a MX5 Pro or MX5 Pro Plus only. However, according to a statement of Vice President Li Nan on Weibo, it might be the case that there won’t be a Pro as a Pro Plus.

So how does the new MX5 Pro Plus looks like compared to the MX5?

Basically they look identical and you will not spot any difference on first sight, however the real deal breaker is not the design – the specs are.
If we put the MX4 Pro and MX5 Pro Plus into a performance based comparison we clearly see that there are core improvements of the 7420 compared to the 5430. Not only that it is more powerful regards rendering capeabilites, it also allows a higher RAM speed and runtime, which can be essential for Flyme’s performance.

Especially the 4GB RAM let us hope that the MX5 Pro Plus is going to resolve the RAM hungry UI, which engineers proved to have lost control of.

Lets stay tuned and wait for its release.
