No, this is definitely not a typo! Only one week after the m3 note release, Meizu has announced to unveil its new flagship – the Meizu Pro 6.
As mentioned in an earlier article the Pro 6 is told to be powered by the MediaTek Helio X25 platform, featuring a slightly overclocked Helio X20, just like an overclocked GPU. Interestingly it seems that Meizu has changed their concept of big screens, to more suitable ones. The Pro 6 is said to have a 5,2″ Full HD screen, a Type C USB port won’t be missing as well, just like the fingerprint scanner we know from all the other Meizu devices. Thats not all though, it is said that the Pro 6 is going to exclusively feature a laser focus, just like “3D” touch. Sadly, Meizu is not first to use 3D touch on an Android phone.*

The launch event is said to take place in Bejing, just like all the previous launches.

Aside of the Pro 6 itself, there might be another highlight included. Just a few days ago Meizu has unveiled the Meizu EP51, a new pair of in-ear Bluetooth headphones.

For a price of around 270RMB (42$ – 37€) they seem to be quite pricey, however Meizu is known for their excellent headphones and media player products. So far Meizu didn’t confirmed that the Pro 6 will contain any headphones though.
