As of today the MX6 was finally officially launched. As in our previous post, there were rumors about the MX6 to be powered by a Helio X20 with 4GB RAM and 32GB interal storage.
Interestingly all of this has been confirmed today.
The only new information we have is that the camera will be a 12MP Sony IMX386, which is quite comparable to the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Furthermore the MX6 will feature dual sim support with VoLTE, which is quite common for MTK chipsets, just like LTE Cat 6 support and a 3060mAh, fast chargable battery.
Just like the Pro 6, the MX6 will be delivered with Android 6.0 with Flyme 5 on top of it.
Also to mention is that the MX6 is just 7.25mm thin.
Luckily one rumor turnt out to be false. Instead of 399$ the MX6 will make its release for 299$ (1999RMB).
Nonetheless, the actual “highlight” of this launch event rather seems to be the accessoirces.
During the launch Meizu unveiled a Loop Jacket case for the MX6, which contains a smart watch a like clock at the back, just like a LifeMe speaker, specially designed for the MX6.
The price for the case is set to around 15$, while the speaker costs 60$.
