Surprise, surprise! The m2 metal we all have been thinking of turns out to be the m3s.
According to the official specifications the m3s will feature a 5 inch, 2.5D curved 720p screen, equiped with a Mali T860 GPU in combination with a 1.5GHz MediaTek MTK6750 eight-core CPU powered by 2GB (16GB storage) or alternatively 3GB (32GB storage) of RAM.
Furthermore the device features a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera with a dual tone LED flashlight. Former one uses a f/2.2, 5 part lens with phase-detection autofocus, while the later one is a simple f/2.0, 4 part lens.
The whole thing gets rounded up by a 3020mAh battery, which should have more than enough juice for the power efficient MTK chip.
A little highlight is the VoLTE support, just like the fingerprint scanner powered by mTouch 2.1.
Like all m-Series devices the m3sâ€™s aluminium housing will also be available in several different colors, which do include gold, silver, grey and pink.
But what shall this thing cost?
As of now Meizu announced a price of 699RMB (95â‚¬) for the 16GB version or 899RMB (125â‚¬) for the 32GB one.
Unfortunately there were no announcements made towards a global release of the device.
