Just yesterday we reported about the TENAA listing of the Meizu m2 metal.
Today Meizu has officially announced its launch date, the 13th of June at 14.00
However, more interesting than this little extra info is the fact that a render has leaked, which claims that the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is going to be released at the 30th of June.
As of now no specs have leaked, however it could be very likely that the Pro 6 Plus will be either powered by an Exynos chipset as it has been done with the MX4 Pro or Pro 5 or it will be just a larger version of the Pro 6, similar as Apple’s iPhone Plus devices. If Meizu would go for the first option it is like that we will see a Exynos 8890 – same to the one used in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and at least 4GB to 6GB RAM. Based on this and a previous statement of Meizu that an Exynos 8890 would be in the works chances seem quite good to see a real successor of the Pro 5 by the end of the month. According to a Weibo post the price could be somewhere around 3000RMB (460$/410€).
