Today Meizu has released it’s new m2 note. A device absolutely impressing by featuring nothing new and being even worse than it’s predecessor the m1 note.
However, summing up the facts, it features a MT6753, being slower than the MT6752, just like the worse Mali T760 and the dual-channel ISP chip. I wonder, isn’t a successor supposed to be better? So what can we find, are 20$ less in price, but if we take a closer look at the specs again we see even more cons. As for example a tempered glass, instead of Gorilla Glass 3.
Now the only question thats left is what Meizu is planning with the m2? If it is worse than the m1, why would someone buy it? Taking a closer look at Meizu and the current situation the answer is quite clear: Nothing.
Especially if you consider the fact that Meizu’s customized Android – Flyme – is not working properly. The OS is full of bugs and limitations making every Meizu device causing overheating, laggs, freezes and even crashes, causing the device to crash and maybe not even boot up anymore. So despite the fact of a slower device you will get an even worse software making the total experience even more worse.
But what is Meizu doing about it? Well most of us would expect that there must be someone to look into it, but in fact the responsible persons either sleep at work or do not even attend to their job. Unfortunately not only some people are behaving like this.
At least you could hope that the heads choose the right persons – well thats not the case either as you can see at Meizu’s latest acquisation – 2 dutch, 19 year old, unexperienced and ungraduated (students) people.

The the espectations this year are quite high, due to Alibaba’s and MediaTek’s investment. Now is the question how Meizu will reaches these goals.
