As of today, Flyme 4.5.1A is available for the MX4 Pro, featuring Android 5.0.1. Yet the changelog is not that big, however we hope that this will change soon. Also with this release Meizu sticks to its timeplan. Only the MX4 release will be a bit later when promised, most likely due to optimization works in the background.
However, users who do not want to use the new test firmware also have a reason to cheer!
Flyme 220.127.116.11 got released for the MX2, MX3, MX4 and MX4 Pro introducing a huge changelog which is patching several bugs which appeared in previous test and stable firmwares. Most likely this could be the last release of Flyme 4.2.x or in general Android 4.4.x. If everything runs well an Android 5 based released of Flyme for the MX4 and previous devices can be expected within May. Only m1 note users have to be patient until June, but therefor it can be said that it doesn’t seems unrealistical to expect a sooner release.
